Interesting info about New Kids on the Block
The New Kids On The Block set the world on fire with their debut back in 1986. Born of a vision by acclaimed producer Maurice Starr, who was the driving force behind the band New Edition, NKOTB hit the ground running. Hailed by some as the first boy band, these kids turned out such mega-hits as “You Got It (The Right Stuff)” and “Hanging Tough”.
Comprised of five New Kids on the Block area kids, they were thrust into the spotlight and began churning out the music. With record sales in record numbers and concerts quickly selling out, the band proved they had what it took to keep their fans satisfied.
After parting ways in 1994, each of the band’s members have, just like their fans, grown up.
However, with the release of a new single and a new album due out later this fall, New Kids On The Block are back; more mature and ready once again to show their still devoted fans and a whole new audience that they still have “The Right Stuff”!
