Interesting info about James Taylor

Fortunately for us all James Taylor’s career seemed to be inevitable and inescapable; finding his love of music nurtured within a musical family, all five of the Taylor children went on to become musicians. At sixteen he left school and formed his first band.

Shortly after in 1967, he moved to London. Still pursuing a career in music, he was by this time also fighting with a drug addiction. Nothing really seemed to click into place for his career until he moved back to the U.S. and signed up with Apple Records. He was freed from his contract due to injuries suffered as the result of an accident that left both of his hands broken. But, after recuperating, he signed up with Warner Brothers and there he stayed until 1977 when he left to sign up with Columbia Records.

James Taylor has made his mark on the world and touched us all with his uplifting and unforgettable music. Never one to stay off the stage for very long, he is back and better than ever. His lilting tunes are like a dose of warm sunshine in an otherwise cloudy world.
